Buildings & Grounds

Cleveland Public School posts its annual health and safety notifications on this page. The notices are updated every fall for the current school year. The district keeps the related management plans, schedules, and test results on file at the District Office, where anyone may review them on request.

Asbestos (AHERA)

The district follows an EPA-approved asbestos management plan. Periodic inspections of the Cleveland K-12 building are scheduled for Fall 2026 and Spring 2027. The plan is on file at the Cleveland K-12 building for public review during business hours.

Integrated Pest Management

Under the Parents' Right-to-Know Act, parents, guardians, and staff may ask to be notified before a pesticide application on school property. An estimated application schedule is posted in each building and is available from the office.

Indoor Air Quality

The district follows a board-approved indoor air quality management plan, with a staff survey each spring and a building walkthrough each winter.

Lead in Water

Minnesota law requires lead-in-water testing in school buildings every five years. The district has a lead-in-water management and testing plan, and the test results are available for review on request.
