Kids in gym

We can say our ABCs.
And we know our one, two, threes.
We are learning every day.
And this is what we have to say:
Kindergarten’s almost past.
But kindergarten was a blast.

Forty-four members of the class of 2035 received their kindergarten diplomas in the new gym on May 26.

And, while they boosted their basic cognitive skills over the last nine months in concepts in reading, writing, math and science, they also learned social skills and how to function in a learning environment.

“Thanks for trusting us with your kids in their growing socially, emotionally and academically,” said Principal Scott Lusk in his remarks.

During the ceremony, the students of the three classes: Mrs. Baker’s, Ms. Hollerich’s and Mrs. Miller's, performed songs for their parents and saw pictures of themselves over the past year on the jumbotron.
