Greta Hahn and Carter Barto

Greta Hahn and Carter Barto will reign over the 2023 CHS homecoming.

The two were crowned at a coronation ceremony on Monday morning in the new gym.

The event is the jump start to the Clippers’ homecoming week.

Hahn is the daughter of Stacy Hahn and Brady Hahn. She is active in volleyball, basketball, softball and band. Barto is the son of Kari Barto and Mike Guillemette. He is active in football, basketball, baseball and band. 

As usual, homecoming week features dress up days. Hawaiian day today (Monday). Tuesday it’s dress  as Ken or Barbie (think pink). Wednesday it’s dress up like Adam Sandler or the student’s father. Thursday it’s Clipper gear, all orange & black, and Friday will be PJ day.

A departure, the pep fest, parade and homecoming football game are all on Thursday. The pep fest starts at 1:30, and parade starts at 2:15. Before the pep fest are obstacles courses and other games with students and school staff.

Iron man competitions will be held throughout the week.

On Friday, the girls volleyball team will vie for the conference championship when they host Alden-Conger.

With Kern Brothers the DJ, a homecoming dance will follow the volleyball match. The theme for it is outer space.

The homecoming court: second-grade princess Virginia Thompson, emcee Dylan Zimmerman, emcee Ellie Dylla, king candidate Brady Bostic, queen candidate Madysen Seely, king Carter Barto, queen Greta Hahn, king candidate Gabriel Sullivan, queen candidate Mariah McCabe and second-grade prince Owen Miller.

 

Second grade prince and princess Owen Miller and Virginia Thompson. He is the son of Scott and Laura Miller while she is the daughter of Ryan and Nichole Thompson.

 

Ellie Dylla and Dylan Zimmerman emceed the coronation and did the respective crowning.
