Overwhelmed by a 6-2 seventh grader, the Clipper sixth-grade girls lost to host Alden-Conger 27-7 on Tuesday.

Hadley Thompson’s free throw was the only Clipper score before the break. Kylie Wobbrock hit a bucket from the paint and drove inside for two more, and Anistyn Dauk scored inside to account for the six Clipper points in the second half.

In Le Sueur on December 11, Gretchen Heldberg scored the lone Clipper basket against the Giants in a 30-2 stomping.

Taking on GHEC in Truman on December 7, the sixth graders, despite a height disadvantage, led early, got behind but came back to edge the Jaguars 17-15. Thompson paced the Clippers with seven points. Wobbrock scored six points. Dauk and Emily Baker each had two points.

The sixth-grade team will be back in action on Monday when they host LeSueur-Henderson
