Jocelyn Kortuem fast break

Visiting Tri-City United schooled the C-Squad girls on Tuesday in a 44-12 stomping.

The Titans scored the first 13 points, all but two of them after steals. Jocelyn Kortuem put in the back end of two foul shots to break up the run.

Kaitlyn Flowers followed with a basket from the baseline and later connected with Taylor Wolf for an inside basket. Kortuem followed a basket from the perimeter. Later, Wolf made a free shot, but the Titans were way up at the intermission, 28-8.

TCU posted the first four points of the second half. Kortuem pulled down an O rebound and scored, and Flowers followed with a basket after fielding and in-bound pass, but that was it for the Clipper offense, and the Titans cruised to an easy win.

Former CHS football coach Dave Krenik was in the house watching his granddaughter compete on the TCU team.

The 1-2 C-Squad girls have no more games scheduled.
