The Cleveland Clipper softball program is back in action this summer, taking the field with energy, determination and a passion for the game. With over 80 girls in the program from 8-14u the Clipper program is representing the area with 7 teams this summer. Competing in nightly league play and local tournaments, our Clipper girls are making their mark and showing incredible growth with each game.

This season, they are not only focused on wins but also developing strong fundamentals, teamwork and sportsmanship. The players are improving their skills, building confidence, and learning what it means to compete with heart. Coaches and family alike are proud to see their hard work paying off so far this season.

With several successful outings already under their belts, the Clippers are proving they’re a force to be reckoned with. As the summer heats up, the teams are looking forward to continued success, new challenges and plenty of fun with their teammates on the field.

Our three teams of 8u girls just started their season in early June and are off to a great start! During game time they are making plays to get outs, hitting the ball and already working on developing the future pitchers of the Cleveland Softball Program! They will wrap their season with the 8u Jamboree in New Ulm on July 19th.

The Cleveland 10u team had their first tournament this past weekend at the Peppers Showdown. They fought all weekend and scored the game winning run in the last inning going 3-1 on Saturday to earn 5th place out of 15 teams!

Cleveland has two 12u softball teams representing our program this season. Our first team, made up of girls entering 7th grade, has made a strong showing with tough competition. Earlier this month they competed at the Behind the Mask tournament in Mankato taking 4th place! They will return to the field this coming weekend at the Janesville Bulldog Summer Slam.

Our other 12u team competed at the Peppers Showdown this past weekend and took 1st place out of 12 teams from the area. Our 10s & 12s teams are gearing up for the league state qualifier that will take place on June 28 & 29th.
