Ava Hahn

Along with 50 of the state's best prep volleyball players from the Class of 2025, Ava Hahn participated in the Minnesota Volleyball Coaches Association's All-Star Series this week.

The four-team round-robin tournament took place on Wednesday at Lakeville South High School.

Hahn’s team lost their first match by one point but won the next two. She played all the way around the court.

In her senior season, Hahn totaled 450 kills, 379 digs, 58 service aces, 16 set assists and seven and a half ace blocks (solos and block assists). In her varsity career, which started in 2021, she totaled 1299 kills, 1083 digs, 211 service aces 53 set assists and 58.5 ace blocks. She was selected to the All-Conference First Team her sophomore, junior and senior years. She was on the All-Conference Second Team as a freshman.

Hahn will join Minnesota State University, Moorhead Dragons volleyball team this fall.

Since 1992, the MNVBCA has sponsored All-State teams for the top 22 players in each class (A, AA, AAA and AAAA). All-State players are selected by the panel of section representatives upon the conclusion of the regular season based on nominations from coaches, statistics, and observations. They are invited to play in the annual All-Star tournament the last week of July.

Hahn is the first Clipper to earn an All-State award, which is difficult to receive for members of teams not ranked in the state top 10. In 2019, McKenna Robb (CHS 2020) was an All-State Honorable Mention.
