The coronation will take place on Monday, September 23 at 8:50 a.m. in the auditorium (middle school gym). The parade will roll through town on Friday at 2:15 p.m. with a pep fest, which is also open to the public, in the new gym before the parade at 1:45.
Before the 7:00 football game, the Student Council will have a tailgate dinner: taco in a bag. There will also be lawn games, face painting and drawing sidewalk chalk art.
Dress up days are for high school are as follows:
Monday: Sleeping Beauty Day. Show up in your comfiest PJs.
Tuesday: Inside Out Day: Wear your class colors: seniors – camo; juniors – blue; sophomores – white; freshman – green; 8th grade – red; 7th grade – purple; staff – orange.
Wednesday: Mean Girls Day. Wear pink!
Thursday: Happy Gilmore Day. Country hick vs. country club. Choose your side.
Friday – Clipper Pride Day. Orange & black is de rigueur.
For elementary students, Monday is pajama day. Tuesday is Black Out Day (wear all black). Wednesday is Wacky Wednesday. Thursday is sports jersey day. Friday is Clipper Pride Day (orange & black)
