Trap shooters

With rounds of 24 and 20, Cole Stocker led the Clipper trap team in competition week two on Wednesday. Upping his score from a week ago by 17, the junior also posted the biggest improvement.

With relatively calm air at Caribou Gun Club, shooting conditions were better than the prior week, but the average (mean) score was pretty much the same: 28.8 vs 28.6 in week one.

Bryce Petit, Colton Tousley and Jake Mueller each disintegrated 42 targets. Petit upped his last week’s score by 10. Urijah Hoheisel crumbled 41.

Gauge Bock and Blake Stocker each shattered 38 clays. Colter O’Keefe and John Ritchie each grounded 35. Marshall Heldberg improved his last week’s score by nine for a 34. Also with a 34, Olivia Reinhardt was the top female shooter.

William Zimmerman and Tony Hollerich each pulverized 31 targets. Brunson Gibbs and Braydon Tousley each shot down 30.

Carter Kern scored a 29. Brayden Seeman and Graham Reinhardt each posted a 28. Steve Giebel upped his week one score by 14 for a 26. Deandra Doerr (above) scored a 24, Raelynn Holicky scored a 22, and Ethan Lloyd scored a 20.

Parker Holicky broke up 19 targets. William Koppelman brought down 14. Tyler Smith connected with 11 targets, and Ben Traxler hit eight.
