Both pulverizing 43 clay discs, freshmen Gauge Bock and Jacob Mueller were the top Clipper trap shooters in week three competition on Tuesday.
With an average (mean) score of 30.2, up 1.4 points from week two, it was a fairly good night at the Caribous Gun Club for the Clippers but still a ways behind last year’s 37.4 week-three average.
Colton Tousley knocked down 42 clays. Blake Stocker disintegrated 41. Henry Boelter scored a 38.
Cole Stocker, Bryce Petit, Urijah Hoheisel and Colter O’Keefe each grounded 37 clays. John Ritchie shot a 36, and Braydon Tousley shot a 34.
Brennon Holicky Upped his last week’s score by 14 points to a 33 for his best effort of the season. Olivia Reinhardt, Tony Hollerich and Ethan Lloyd all shot a 32. Lloyd improved his week two score by a dozen.
Brayden Seeman connected with 31 discs. Also with a 31, an 18-point increase from last week and far and away his highest score of the season, Tyler Smith made the biggest improvement from week two.
Brunson Gibbs posted a 30. Deandra Doerr scored a 29. Graham Reinhardt blew apart 27 flying clays. Marshall Heldberg scored a 26. Steve Giebel scored a 25.
With a 23, Jacquelyn Heldberg bettered her last week score by 12 points. Carter Kern shot a 20.
Ben Traxler scored a 13, Raelynn Holicky shot a 12, and Will Koppelman shot an 11.
