A standing ovation…hugs and high fives…laughter…saline tracks...
In an emotional ritual on their last day of high school, thirty-eight seniors took part in a walkthrough yesterday (Friday), parading through school halls lined with fellow students, teachers and administrators.
The senior’s day officially started with breakfast in the baseball/softball field pavilion served by their parents.
But before that, they constructed a series of pranks in and around the school. A CFD truck and side-by-sides blocked the lower parking lot. The main stairs to the second floor was barricaded with balloons. Other stairs to the second floor were obstructed with cups or wrappings. A for-sale sign was hung over the main entrance.
After rehearsing for their commencement ceremony, which will be held at 7:00 pm next Friday (May 29), the seniors finished their half day with a lunch before leaving the school for the last time as students.

It didn’t take elementary students long to start tearing down the balloon wall on the stairs in the main entrance.
