Seniors shooting

Each posting a 47, the trap team’s highest score of the season, Jake Mueller and Blake Stocker were the top guns in the final competition on Wednesday. Both are freshmen.

Mueller improved his prior season-best score by three while Stocker upped his previous 2026 best by five. Both grounded 24 clays during the first round of shooting and 23 during the second.

The average score among the 26 shooters in the calm weather at the Caribou Gun Club was 32.5, an improvement of 0.8 over week four competition.

Gauge Bock shot a 43. Bettering his week four score by seven and equaling his previous best score, Urijah Hoheisel broke up 42 orange discs. Marshall Heldberg shot a 40.

Bryce Pettit split up 39 targets. Cole Stocker and Colton Tousley each scored a 37. Tony Hollerich shot a 36. Posting 35s were Henry Boelter and Colter O’Keefe. Olivia Reinhardt disintegrated 34 discs, topping her brother Graham Reinhardt by one.

Tyler Smith upped his last week’s score by 11 to shoot a season best 32. Brunson Gibbs’ 31 was also his best effort of the season.

John Ritchie and Brayden Seeman each scored a 30. Deandra Doerr and Ethan Lloyd each grounded 29 clays. Brennon Holicky and Carter Kern each scored a 25.

Jacquelyn Heldberg connected with 24 discs. Braydon Tousley gunned down 22. Parker Holicky scored a 19 while his younger sister Raelynn Holicky had an 11.

For seniors Doerr, Kern and Olivia Reinhardt it was the final regular competition as a Clipper.

This Wednesday, the Clipper trap team will hold an awards ceremony and pose for a team photo.
