Visiting Janesville-Waldorf-Pemberton fell to the varsity girls 3-0 on Tuesday.

Game one started with a Melia Sathoff ace roll. With a couple of Taylor McCabe kills, a pair Sathoff ace serves and a Keira Schipper ace block in the mix, the Clippers led 7-0 before the Bulldogs came up with a kill.

The Clippers won 25-7 on a JWP hit into the net.

The Clippers sent two hits out of bounds at the start of game two but lit up their side of the scoreboard when McCabe tipped over an ace to start an eight-point run.

On a McCabe kill, they won 25-7.

The net helped JWP serve an ace for the first point of game three, but, starting with a McCabe kill, the Clippers quickly took over. The match ended on an Amelia Chmiel kill.

McCabe slammed 16 kills, stretched for four assisted ace blocks, scooped three digs. Sathoff had five kills, six digs and one set assist. Thompson had three set assists and 11 digs. Jocelyn Kortuem set up 26 pints, hit two winners, assisted on two ace blocks and lifted four digs. Luci Blaschko had three digs and one set assist. Kaitlyn Flowers had two digs and four set assists. Chmiel elevated one dig. Sierra Lotspeich made three assisted ace blocks and one dig. Aubrey Blaschko totaled five kills and had one assisted ace block. Maile Meissner smacked three kills and put down two assisted ace blocks. Liviana Lee hit for two winners and extended for two assisted ace blocks. Kenzie Kortuem had one kill.

The Clippers only missed three of their 70 serves. Sathoff sent over four aces. Thompson had two, and McCabe and Lotspeich each had one ace serve.

In New Prague on Saturday in their 3-0 win over Class 4A Rochester Mayo, Sathoff hit for eight kills, served seven aces, had eight digs, set up two points and assisted one ace block. Thompson had 10 digs, three set assists and two kills. McCabe swung for 17 kills, set two assists and pulled up seven digs. Jocelyn Kortuem passed for 27 assists and totaled five digs, three kills, two service aces, one solo ace block and one assisted ace block. Luci Blaschko had three digs. Meissner had one kill, one dig and assisted one ace block. Chmiel had one dig. Kenzie Kortuem had one dig. Schipper hit two winners and assisted one ace block. Aubrey Blaschko had four kills.

Tonight (Tuesday), the Clippers host Sleepy Eye.
