The streets from the softball fields to downtown Cleveland spilled over with Clipper pride Friday afternoon as the homecoming parade streamed through.
The procession was led by the seventh, eighth, and ninth-grade marching band. Legions of elementary students, bearing signs praising the prowess of the Clipper football team, followed. The parade featured the homecoming royalty and an entry from the six high school grades and Cleveland Fire & Rescue vehicles.
Before the procession, students rallied at a pep fest in the new gym. Activities director Walker Froehling brought up all the football and volleyball captains to talk about their season. He also recognized the cross country team, the tennis team and the Clipper Rising Voices youth choir. The pep band added to the festive atmosphere.

The Elementary Student Council, advised by Shanna Roloff (left), had Clipper swag for sale all week.
Led by director Erik Hermanson, the pep band cranked up the energy at the pep fest.
The homecoming royalty was introduced at the pep fest. It includes, from L-R, emcees Sajen Grandaw and Tanner Simonette; court members Taylor McCabe, Caleb Connor, Amelia Chmiel, Aiden Domras, Delaney Thompson and Braeden Smith; and queen Kaitlyn Flowers and king Carson Lyons.
