For some 268 students in grades 7 through 12, summer officially ended on Tuesday morning with a return to school.
Another 339 kids in kindergarten through sixth grade met with their teaches on Tuesday or Wednesday and had their first official day of school on Thursday.
Enrolled this fall are about 45 seniors and 45 kindergarteners.
Last year the numbers on day one were about 255 high schoolers and 295 K-6.
