Even though the precipitation outside was coming down in liquid form and not as fluffy white ice crystals, Cleveland Snow Week kicked off Monday morning with a royalty coronation held in the auditorium.
Junior Greta Hahn was crowned the Snow Week queen. Senior Nathan Schmoll was crowned king.
Sophomore Savannah Meyer was crowned baroness while her classmate Thayne Remiger was crowned baron.
Seventh grader Kayla Hoffmann was crowned princess. Eighth grader Caleb Connor was chosen as prince but was out of town. Seventh grader Jackson Wille was crowned in his place.
Other queen candidates were Amelia Haack, Lilly Draheim and Amelia Tauer. Other king candidates were Jackson Rysdam, Gabriel Sullivan and Maddix Lutterman.
Other baroness candidates were Samantha Baker, Mollie Bowman and Jocelyn Bartell. Other baron candidates were Carter Kern, Mason Kluntz and Cooper Arnold.
Other princess candidates were Kiya Sohn, Maile Meissner and Delaney Thompson. Other prince candidates were Jack Anderson, Garrett Heldberg and Braeden Smith.
Seniors Sarena Remiger and Harley Connor were the emcees and took turns crowning.
Today’s dress up is PJs for both high school and elementary. Tomorrow’s dress-up is Hawaiian Out for high school and construction for elementary. Wednesday’s dress-up is “On Wednesdays we wear pink” - Mean Girls for high school and Wacky Wednesday for elementary. Thursday’s dress-up is Zoom Meeting for high school and Favorite Character for elementary. Friday’s dress-up is Decades Day for both high school and elementary.
