The 2026 Cleveland Honors Society Induction ceremony is to be held on Friday, May 15th, at 9 A.M. in the middle school gym. There will be a short reception afterwards in the commons area. All are welcome!

All softball players will be dismissed today at 1:30, bus leaves at 1:45. Track stars will be dismissed today at 2:20, bus leaves at 2:40. All baseball players will be dismissed today at 2:30, bus leaves at 2:45.
A water main break has occurred at Broadway and 6th Street, and crews are actively working to repair it as quickly as possible. Residents in affected areas may experience low water pressure or temporary service interruptions.
The school has been notified that Broadway to 6th Street will close for repairs on Wednesday, April 29, after bus drop-off at the school, at approximately 8:00 a.m. We are unsure when the road is expected to reopen. You may need to take an alternate route.

April 20-21 - Members of the Cleveland FFA chapter attended the MN State FFA Convention held in St. Paul. Students attended workshops, went on tours of the U of M St. Paul campus, and received awards.
Kayla Hoffmann placed 3rd in the state for her Agricultural Education Proficiency, and Marshall Heldberg placed 1st in Sheep Production Proficiency. Marshall will advance as he competes at the National FFA Convention next fall. Dacota Lotspeich and Vanessa Wondra were also in attendance as the chapter's State Delegates this year.
They met with members from other chapters around the state and discussed ongoing issues with MN State FFA administration.
While at the convention, Kayla Hoffmann and Vanessa Wondra had the opportunity to do a radio interview and talk about their experiences with FFA and the State Convention. Playbacks of the Cleveland FFA interviews will air on April 27th. Three playbacks will be airing at 10:40, 1:40, and 3:40. KCHK radio

The spring blood drive is coming up on Wednesday April 22nd. If you are 16 years of age and interested in donating please scan a QR code around the school, or talk with Mr. Roberts to get signed up. Those that are 16 years old need a permission slip which can be found in the office, or with Mr. Roberts. You'll earn a $15 gift card for donating.

The Cleveland Spring Blood Drive is fast approaching! We will be hosting a blood drive next Wednesday, April 22nd from 8AM-2PM. The drive will be located in the New Gym. Donors will receive a $15 online gift card for their donation. Donations are open for anyone in the community.
Our goal for the year is to collect over 100 pints of blood in order to earn a $1500 scholarship through the American Red Cross. Last year we fell a bit short with only 87 pints collected. We have some work to do this spring. We would love your help to reach our goal.
